Geneva Grand Théâtre Ballet, Geneva, Switzerland THE TERRITORY OF CONTEMPORARY DANCEGeneva Grand Théâtre Ballet — one of the most famous dance theatres of Europe — brings to the Territory Festival a program, which consists of three pieces staged by famous European choreographers: “Para-Dice” by Saburo Teshigawara, «Selon désir» by Andonis Foniadakis, “Loin” by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. These three productions show the different aspects, schools and trends of contemporary dance. Saburo Teshigawara examines a lighter and mystical spirituality. With Foniadakis, dancers and spectators alike are transported into a maelstrom of baroque virtuosity. And Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui delivers a reflection on identity and promises us a human path, warm and on occasion funny. General Director — Tobias Richter
